Iyanda Mabani introduced himself,Hi everyone ,hope you are doing well and this interview will find out more about me ,all started with my football journey.
He started playing soccer at an early age of 5 years, playing street soccer.At the age of 7,he joined Dinonyana football club in Welkom and he was the youngest player in the team by that time.He used to watched Ronaldinho and, other football players.stated they are many but he admired Ronaldinho style of play, because also he is a dribbling player,describing Ronaldinho said he is so confident on the ball,his movements on/off the ball it was insane according to him,ever smiling,you could see he is enjoying the game, very arrogant on the ball, explained he was not loosing the ball cheaply.Iyanda told us,he is so ambitious to play professional football,that’s why he invested lot of time in training.Elaborated he is not that type of a player who depends on coaches training only.He do his own training trying to perfect his touches on the ball,creating his own skills that will boost his confidence also.He knows how it takes to become the best footballer in the world.Regarding challenges he faced,he came across with a lot of setbacks in this game.Mentioned some of the situations, said sleeping at the garage the whole night waiting to be picked up,dololo 12 hours waiting,he can imagine because he is passionate in this game and he love it so much.He consider himself Blessed,he had a lot of Challenges when was young being rejected many times,those challenges shaped him to be humble in life and appreciate the little he has.While he is working so hard to reach his Dream.Iyanda nicknamed “Babayaro” said his biggest highlights is when he was selected to go and represent South Africa in England,they were 6 and he was the first player to be chosen ,all thanks to Shona Khona program for giving them a platform to showcase their talents.He will always cherish those moments.He guess,gave lot of Gents hope in his Kasi,all is possible through God.The most important thing Iyanda told us happily said he learned so much in football,to be disciplined enough, know the right to have parties and time for Business,to be humble,Consistency is very important,to be on the a peak,go extra mile,triple effort while others they double their efforts,to have multiples patience waiting for the right moment, always be ready for your chance.God s’ timing always perfect.According to him his family motivates him every day,they way,they support him it’s phenomenal.He will sacrifice everything for them because they are strong holds,to hold on in life.Next Question we asked him about Nedbank Keyona Team , Replied first would like to thank Nedbank for initiating this platform for gents to showcase their talents because others coming especially in Rural areas are not exposed to get trials for Big teams.Insisted Nedbank brought hopes to those players,on his side it was a Big Opportunity.He remembered 2015/2016 season,had no team,so he went to Nedbank trials in Bloemfontein,had fun there and when he got a call he made it to boot camp of 48 players ,he told himself he was selected over thousands of players in Bloemfontein, he was excited at the same time,had internal battle to fight for his spot in the final 18 man squad.He kept the faith ,he gonna make it regardless,had no team in that period,he thank indoor sports centre for offering him their facilities to prepare himself and their trainers.Iyanda worked with so many people trying to help him to become amongst the Best and his coaches ekasi, other coaches in the country.They played a tremendous role in life.His words describing his agent said shhh the legend,the one and only little Napoleon”TSO” Vilakazi,he called him grootman villa, explained they cool together,understands him and he understands the game very well.He consider himself Blessed,on his corner and other Legends,the likes of Lwazi Sehula,Sam.For him all the coaches,they coached him are the Best,stated it’s difficult for him to choose one,Coach Tau,Bra Svidge,Bra Wanda,Coach Siya,Ta George,Ntante Mosia, General Kgakala,Ta Matthew,Frank Maqala,Coach Steve,Coach Mzito,Coach Zema,Ta Malaza,Coach Wonderboy.Said eish baninzi kakhulu.He was hoping for the Best.He wanna grow old with this chain.His favourite mentor is Brian Bouwer,the Bouwer cop,he called him umzi wa madoda ,man of God, very intelligent.Messi and Ronaldo, Neymar Jnr, said they all love them but for him,he likes Riyard Mahrez,Skudu Makudubela,Themba”mshishi”Zwane,Paseko Mako and Mosa Lebusa his home boy,hinted he likes all of them because he believes every player is unique with his own way,so he learn from them.In 3 years s’ time,he wants to play CAF and also he wants to play for National team, described himself still have energy,desire all still there.Words for his supporters back home,said would thank everyone who s’behind Iyanda “Babayaro” Mabani,it takes heaven to thank them their support means the world to him and promise them to be a good boy, unlike him, is genuine person,loves people.Words for upcoming youngsters all he can say to young upcoming stars,they must not limit themselves in life,aim higher, don’t consider failure as an option,be on guard stand firm in the faith, said read the word of God thats when you gonna find all the answers, you seek to be strong mentally.Do Everything with all your heart.Difficulties in your life do not come to destroy you,but to help you to find the
